Oculus
is a 2013 American extraordinary repulsiveness film steered by Mike
Flanagan. The film happens in two separate times: the present and 11
years prior. The two plotlines are told in parallel through
flashbacks. In 2002, product engineer Alan Russell moves into another
house with his wife Marie, 10-year-old child Tim, and 12-year-old girl
Kaylie. Alan buys a relic mirror to adorn his office. Unbeknownst to
them the mirror is otherworldly and vindictive and actuates pipedreams
in both grown-ups; Marie is supernaturally inhabited by dreams of her
